Wish for 2015
I knew 2014 was gonna be special, full of beautiful memories and accomplishments. And that was just the kind of year 2014 proved to be- joyous and peaceful! But that statement merely sums up my world- my life, my family, my vacations and my experiences.
The world at large was far from being peaceful. Someone in the far land of Gaza was deafened by the sound of continuous firing and bombarding, other lost a dear one to Ebola; young eyes witnessed massacre of their friends, families still wait to hear what happened to the Beijing bound Malaysian Airlines flight; a part of the world protested against discrimination on the basis of skin color, while the other marched for the 5-year old rape victim.
I hoped and worked for a happy 2014 and was blessed with one. This year, taking a step further, I wish and pray for a peaceful 2015 for all of us. No wars. No killings. No rapes. No discrimination. Please!
May the urge to excel, never convert into the urge to suppress.May the belief in one's religion, never lead to brutality.May the desire to lead, never turn into the desire to rule.Into that blissful land, may this world awake.
On that note, I wish all of you a fabulous 2015!
Happy New Year, Tanya!
