Moghul || WUW Linky Party

Amid the busy weekdays come busier weekends. All the activities get pushed for the two most awaited days of the week. Cleaning the car, grocery shopping, mall hops, bank visits, family trips, birthday parties, get togethers, catching up on sleep, sparing time for hobbies and spa appointments make the weekend schedule tighter than the rest of the days.

Infact, I have come to the conclusion that vacations are more tiring than routine. We often end up pushing ourselves to go the extra mile to make the most out of our days off, forgetting that we started with the intention to relax.

Anyway! This past weekend we decided to go with the flow of things. We stayed away from the word 'PLAN' and... it turned out to be great :) Impromptu cooking plans, shopping with no specific agenda, movie, games and painting!!

Presenting- 'Moghul'

The easiest part of the painting was to choose the color for the Moghul and his elephant. That shade of blue is on my mind these days! The weekend apparel shopping is a clear proof. For once, I happily agreed to Sanket's (yet another) choice of blue t-shirt! Royal Blue for Royals!!

Happy October Friends :) My favorite time of the year is here!

  1. I agree with you! Vacations are certainly more tiring than routine. I always find that I need a vacation to recover from a vacation! Love the painting - perfect for Diwali, don't you agree?

    And once again, thanks for picking my needlepoint cookies.
