Feeling 'Artsy-Craftsy' & An Announcement!

After all these years of maintaining this little space in the CyberWorld, I have identified a blogging pattern that I have been following (pretty much unintentionally). After days of frequent posts, sneak in 'silent days'. I just disappear all together for weeks. Then, one fine day, the over-coat of laziness is shed and I make a comeback with an artsy-craftsy post!

And today, I am gonna do just that- Make a comeback with a colorful post!!

This painting is far from being latest. I made it months back- 3 months back!
Somehow, the pictures clicked back then, did not do just to the painting or at least I felt so; hence, the delay. By the way, I still don't feel very good about these pictures. Those of you, who have seen it in person would know and for all the others, here is more of my most random artwork.

Just like the trend I talked about right at the start of the post, there is another blogging habit that I have developed over the period of time and that is- to keep posts in 'Draft' forever. I hope to get them all published sooner or later but for now, this painting is the lucky one to be pulled out of the drafts and see the light of being published.

Hope you like it!!

Football season is just about underway!  Whether it is a club, college, high school or professional teams are practicing and getting ready for another exciting season.  My family loves to watch football. Of course football also means snacks, so to go along with our first game of the season I created this portable SNICKERS Pretzel Snack with cute little football bags.

Bourbon Maple Sweet Potato Recipe

from  eat pray {read} love

These Bourbon Maple Sweet Potatoes are sure to be a hit at your next dinner! Creamy potatoes with a crunchy pecan topping and just the right amount of sweetness!

I had these delicious Bourbon-Maple sweet potatoes as one of my sides. Ben doesn’t normally like sweet potatoes (which is one reason I ordered them!- kidding!) but he inhaled these babies. I decided to try to recreate the sweet potato recipe for our Thanksgiving meal and they were pretty spot-on.
